More open house stuff

And the other half of what I'd put out for people to see. Just a bit of life drawing. I think there's an image of images you can stick on a post. Thus the split.

Now I'll have to fiddle with how to upload videos.

Stuff from the Open house, wee!

Soooo... college is finally over. Figured I'd finally get to posting something new on here, now that I have breathing time, woo! I wish the html codes for images and such would stop popping over the text I type.

Oh yeah, I finished the medicine seller bust. Well, the modeling of it anyway. For some reason I keep thinking modeling requires two L's... Anywho, I should texture him at some point.

Head modeling fun, part 3

And more progress. Finally got around to completing that bandana/head scarf thing. I'm pleased with it. So a shot of the front and the back today, lovelies.

Head modeling fun, part 2

Just an update on my progress. I've got part of his bandana and his hair modeled. He's looking good so far, but the hair was a little challenging. Still wondering if I shouldn't have kept the hair as simple flat planes.

Head modeling fun

I figured I might as well start putting stuff up here. Hm... since this is the first post there will be much tinkering with formatting I think.

Anyway, the pictures below are a couple screenshots of a character modeling project I'm doing for a bit of fun. So I'm attempting to model the medicine seller of the anime Monoke. This guy here, for those that are curious.

Here is what I have done so far. I find his cheeks too round, so I'll try and tone them down, as I do more work on him. Although I am quite pleased with how the ears turned out.

Edit: Hm, looks like I'll have to make my images smaller next time. Unless I can shrink the thumbnails further? Oo, I figured it out. Yes, I talk to myself when I blog.

I wonder if there's a way to make cuts on Bogspot, like you can do on Livejournal...

If anyone has tips, or some constructive criticism, by all means, send it my way. I'll take any feedback anyone's willing to offer, since I know my mesh likely isn't the best right now. I'm still learning.

No idea when's the next time I'll be posting something.
